Worth The Drive

Posted on January 1, 1970

You may have to drive a few miles out of your way to see us at Wears Valley Ziplines, but we think once you see our breathtaking views and experience some of the longest, fastest ziplines in the Smokies, you'll agree that it was certainly worth the extra effort.

And it's not that we're that far out in the boonies. If you're traveling from Blount County, we're right on your way to Sevier County, and if you're coming from Pigeon Forge, we're only about 10 miles from town. In fact, if you're looking for a convenient place to zip line, Gatlinburg and Sevierville's options are even farther away than we are.

Like we said, our seven-line course has some of the longest and fastest zipline action around. Totaling more than 1.25 miles, we offer 6,700 linear feet of fun, and our longest zip line measures 2000 feet in length. That's more than a third of a mile! And with some lines more than 300 feet above the ground, we have some of the highest lines in the Smokies as well.

Along the way, our unspoiled Smoky Mountain acreage is a slice of mountaintop heaven, offering a peaceful, tranquil setting with views of most of the Smokies range and its highest peaks.
